I always start getting a little bit antsy around this time of year…

For the past four years, I have helped run a little seasonal business that is open from May to September.  I do the accounting books for the business, work a few of the shifts every week, pick up supplies, hire and train the employees – a lot of the little day to day stuff.

Each year around August, the little day to day stuff for the past few months really begins to add up.

Don’t get me wrong – I love the business.  It’s a great way for me to have freedom the rest of the year, and live a rather laid back lifestyle for the most part.  But… you guys know what I’m talking about, right?  Sometimes a vacation to Europe just seems like the right thing to do!

When I saw this cool vintage “Inside Europe” book on Etsy.com, it made my mind start to wonder a bit.

What country would I go to first?  Where would I see the best sunset?  How many goodies would I find in a French bakery?

You know… the usual thoughts.

Anyway, I am super lucky to be right where I am, but you can’t hold it against me for daydreaming right?
