Item: Capital E Book End

The Etsy seller behind Yaheesplace (whose lovely Yah Bag canvas tote was featured last month) told me to check out an Etsy shop called Eclecticpelican. I was excited to see all the fun vintage items in this shop – especially this awesome book end!
I’m looking for items that are “mom-approved” this week in honor of Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday. My mom isn’t too into vintage housewares, but I think this book end is one of those items that would make her think twice about using vintage to decorate. I think Etsy is a great place to change someone’s mind about how awesome vintage can be!

Item: Handmade Eyeglass Cases

The ladies book group I am a member of is reading “The Mayor’s Tongue” by Nathaniel Rich. This is a great book – and really different than the books we have been reading lately!
In honor of book group, I wanted to share these darling eyeglass cases. Lately, the only time I have been sporting my glasses is when I’m reading The Mayor’s Tongue, so I immediately thought of this book when I saw these darling handmade eyeglass cases!
