Item: Organic Burp Cloths

Meet Etsy seller Holly Jorgensen, the crafter behind a great children’s shop called StorkAndMe.  I met Holly via my Etsy Item of the Day shop submission page and had a really hard time pinpointing my favorite item. There are so many fab handmade items for babies and kids!

“I am a stay at home mom to two busy boys, ages 2 and 8 months,” Holly said. “I love to sew and buy organically grown as much as possible. I have combined these two passions into my shop! I like to exercise with Stroller Strides, hike, camp, play with my boys, read, cook, and garden.”

I asked Holly where she likes to shop on Etsy.com and she told me about ACupofSparkle.

“My friend Melike, and her shop A Cup of Sparkle is the shop I frequent most. I love her work because each item she makes is a custom order for a mom and her kids. You have to check out her jewelry!” Holly says.

Here’s Holly’s advice to fellow Etsy sellers:

“Make what you love and the buyers will follow!” she says.

I am obsessed with the recycled crayons listed at Art2TheExtreme on Etsy.com!  The building block men pictured above are my favorite design, but here are some other lovelies listed by this seller:

Nicole Lewis is the fabulous seller behind this fun shop.  I’ve been a fan of Nicole’s work for awhile now (here’s a past feature of her Etsy shop), so I was thrilled to see her share more about herself on my Etsy Item of the Day shop submission page.

“I am an art teacher from Indianapolis, IN. I am also the Original Seller of Recycled Crayons and Rainbow Crayons on Etsy,” Nicole told me.  ”I LOVE scrapbooking, taking photos, and playing indoor soccer with my husband!”

I asked Nicole where she likes to browse on Etsy.  She told me about a shop called TwoSeasideBabes.

“Their hats are so comfy, warm, and made well!” she said. “The seller is such a pleasure to work with and they have great customer service.”

Nicole said she also loves the work of MichelleBrusegaard.

“I have bought several scarves and I love her calendar each year!” Nicole told me.

Item: Caterpillar Baby Onesie

I am babysitting a 15 month baby tomorrow, so I thought it would be fun to check out baby items on Etsy.com today!

I came across BabyElkDesigns and thought their custom onesies were really cute!  My favorite is the caterpillar above, but here are some other greats:

They are selling for $12.00 – great price for a small gift, right?
