Look at that cute face!
What’s really cool about this item selling on Etsy.com is that there is matching mommy gear too! Check it out:

Meet Amanda, the seller behind SewManyFreckles, which is an Etsy shop based out of Ionia, Michigan.
“I am currently a stay-at-home mom, wife, and business owner. I make children’s boutique clothing and accessories,” Amanda shared with me in her Etsy Item of the Day shop submission. ”I used to be an exclusive quilter but am loving the creativity involved in clothing.I am also going back to college for my bachelors in interior design so that some day when my daughter and other future children are in school I can keep busy
”
When she isn’t crafting for her Etsy shop, Amanda told she she enjoys baking – especially cupcakes, playing with her dog and spending time as a family while her husband is home for the summer.
“I also love to shop and plan or organize, whether it’s a party, baby shower or the layout of the rooms in our new house,” she said.
Amanda shared a list of great shops that I hope everyone takes time to check out. These are where she likes to browse on Etsy.com!
Amanda says she likes alittlesweetness. ”I currently am in love with the embroidery patterns and illustrations. The colors and style are my favorite…now just to decide where to use them!” she said.
Amanda also likes sewsweetpatterns because of their awesome dress patterns. ”I am currently planning to purchase a bunch for new items for my shop. This seller also does a great job listing the patterns, not only with great photos but fabric requirements!” Amanda said.
Amanda said she likes to browse digitizedcreations because of the cool 3D flowers in this shop. “They are perfect for embellishing my clothing. I also plan to purchase many of these when I start a new line of items!” she said.
Here is an example of these cool 3D flowers found in this shop!

If you are new to selling your handmade items on Etsy.com, Amanda shared some advice that may apply to you!
“Be sure to post great photos. It has been well worth it for me to hire a professional photographer for decent photos. Also be reasonable with your shipping and listing prices. If shipping costs a lot, add it to the price of the item. And most importantly do your research as to how much it actually costs to ship things,” she said.
So what’s coming up next for this darling Etsy shop?
“I will be getting ready for new fall/winter items,” Amanda told me. ”I have started to offer a dress of the month club and I hope that becomes more popular with school starting. For fall and winter, I plan to add warmer clothing, jackets and fun accessories. I will also have coordinating outfits available for Christmas.”
