Item: Tiny Gift Tags and Envelopes
Seller: Brittanysbest

My partner always laughs at me because I really, really love little tiny things. A stay at a great hotel is nearly too much for me… I will oftentimes always bring an extra plastic bag inside my luggage just to store all the mini toiletries.
Here are some of my favorite little things I have come across:

He was really annoyed when I swiped this from a nice restaurant’s table. It seemed totally normal because you never know when you just need a little bit of ketchup (who wants to buy an entire bottle for a household of one??)

Although this is not the exact brand of honey mini-bottle I have snagged before, it’s pretty close. Two ounces of honey? OMG, love it. Just the right amount!
I hope you’re picking up what I am putting down. It’s not just food items…. All little things make me smile. I’m not sure what it is, but sometimes in a world full of bulk food bins and Costco stores, it’s sort of nice to just have a small piece of something pretty.
Enter Brittany, the handmade Etsy seller behind a shop called BrittanysBest. I heard about Brittany’s shop via an Etsy Item of the Day shop submission. When I came to her shop, the first thing that caught my eye was this cute itty-bitty gift tags and envelopes set she recently listed. It’s pictured above, but here’s another image so you can see why I love it so much:

Is it just me or does it sound like heaven to wake up to this little envelope and note card on the counter before you leave for the day? Just a little “Hi!” would seriously make my day!
“I am a soon to be mom (due Jan 16th, 2012) and full time Etsy seller and crafter,” Brittany told me. ”I live in beautiful Colorado with my husband and two cats. I started my website in an effort to share crafts with others and to tell new Etsy sellers my experiences so that they could learn from my mistakes. My readers have been able to go through trials and tribulations with me. I don’t claim to be an expert and I think people appreciate seeing that I am learning too.”
When she’s not crafting, it sounds like Brittany shares a lot of the same hobbies I enjoy too. She told me she likes to garden, do home improvement projects (big and small), decorate, read, watch football, cook, play European board games and go to garage sales.
“My very favorite thing right now is decorating the nursery with Etsy finds!” she told me. I bet it’s a blast finding great items. Brittany, be sure to peep my Children and Baby Items section, which has great shops I have come across on Etsy.com!
Brittany told me she loves to shop at an Etsy shop called Delicate By Nature.
“I fell in love with her cuticle cream at a craft show we both attended this spring. I like to go back to her shop to see her lovely pictures and see what new products she has come out with,” she told me. This is a fabulous Etsy shop – thanks for sharing Brittany!
Brittany has valuable advice for others selling on Etsy.com:
“Selling on Etsy is a marathon, not a sprint. While overnight successes do happen, they don’t happen often. Try not to compare yourself to other people and other shops,” she told me.
So what’s coming up next for Brittany’s lovely shop?
“I am very excited to be participating in several juried craft fairs this holiday season. I am preparing for that and for the holiday shopping season on Etsy,” Brittany shared with me. ”My website has undergone some major changes recently. I am looking forward to offering more tutorials and articles for Etsy sellers. Looking forward to connecting more with my readers as well.”
Loving Brittany’s shop as much as I am? Be sure to check out her website, Facebook, and follow her on Twitter @BrittanysBest!
