I am starting to see Halloween items on Etsy – fall is approaching!

I fell in love with these darling “BOOH!” Halloween cards selling on Etsy.com.  This week, I have been featuring shops that have come my way via my Etsy shop submission page, and I thought many of you out there would really like MademoiselleG.  The set of three cards is selling for $14.00 – and they are so whimsical!

The seller behind MademoiselleG is Genevieve Marquis, and she makes whimsical and retro illustrations with colored ink.  Genevieve even started to make art dolls this spring.

When she is not crafting, Genevieve says she loves to read good novels and watch movies and TV series with her boyfriend.

Apparently, crafting is all in the family here.  Genevieve says her mom has an Etsy.com called BlueberryFields. “She is the one who showed me how to sew dolls and she is selling so cute items! I like her shabby-chic-folk style,” Genevieve told me.

Genevieve tells other Etsy sellers to patient and stay positive!  “It’s not always easy to get ourselves out there on Etsy, but etsy buyers who want your items are there, you just have to find them and always surprise them with new items,” she said.

I cannot wait to see what’s next for this whimsical Etsy shop!

“I have so many ideas in my little head, and don’t have the time to make them all! I would love to continue to make art dolls and develop a bit more this side of my shop,” Genevieve told me.

Check out these cool fabric origami stars!  Wouldn’t these be fun as decor for the July 4th event?

This listing on Etsy from seller wendysorigami is for a set of 3 puffy origami stars. The set is selling for $12.00.

Each star is made of 5 squares of folded fabric, and has a small cord to hang the star.  They measure approximately 4 inches by 4 inches.  They are made using red and off white striped fabric and navy blue and off white star fabric.

If you love these stars, but don’t have a need for patriotic decor, the seller (wendysorigami) can make these stars in many different fabrics.  Just send a quick Etsy convo to discuss.

Still looking for a unique Father’s Day gift?  I came across this Etsy shop (DingbatPress) and thought this custom fly fishing stationery would be a great find for a outdoors lover!

This set of 25 flat fly fishing notes is selling for $70.00.  They come with unprinted envelopes.  The cards are letterpress printed on 100# thick arturo Italian paper.  The cards measure 4.5 inches by 6.25 inches.

The coolest part about this item (and the thing that just may get you some extra points with Dad this year) is that these are able to be customized just for him.  I’m not saying your gift will be much better than the other gifts he gets this year… but I’m also not saying otherwise either!  I mean, how awesome are these cards?
