Item: Animal Clocks
Seller: BigBadWolfDesign

Meet Jennie, the handmade seller behind an Etsy shop called BigBadWolfDesign. I first met this seller via my Etsy Item of the Day shop submission page. I wanted to share her animal clocks today with all of you!
“I make things out of acrylic after discovering a laser cutter and now am thoroughly addicted,” Jennie told me.
“Big Bad Wolf Design is all about the bright colours and clean lines of acrylic,” she writes in her Etsy profile. “The ideas keep coming and the range is rapidly expanding so please keep coming back.”
When I asked Jennie where she likes to shop when she’s browsing Etsy.com, she told me about a shop called saracarr.
“I think it’s very difficult to get personality into simple shapes and she does it beautifully,” Jennie said.
Jennie’s advice to sellers is pretty simple, but extremely valuable:
“Look at all the other shops as it makes you realise just how the standard has to be – especially with the photography,” she suggests.

Item: Glass Lighting
Seller: lukelampco

I saw this Etsy shop featured on the homepage of Etsy.com, and was fascinated. Check out the cool lighting listed by this seller:

Super cool stuff, right?
Here’s what Luke said about himself in the feature on Etsy:
“My name is Luke and I’m 23 years old. I’m the guy behind Luke Lamp Co., which is a collection of lighting and home decor that I design and build by hand here in the suburbs of New York,” he said.
“Like most males, I enjoy Bruce Willis movies, grilling and power tools,” he continued. “Unlike most males, I have no idea how fantasy football works, I have cried during more than one romantic comedy, I would never put Tabasco sauce on anything and I happen to think scented candles are awesome.”
“Most of who I am is thanks to my fantastic and beautiful girlfriend, who loves me even though I store lamp parts in my living room and a tool chest the size of a sleeping cow in my kitchen,” Luke said. “She keeps me grounded, organized and creative; she also bakes cookies for me in times of need.”
Here’s a cool photo of Luke at work:

This shop is so freaking rad. I am obsessed!

Way to go Luke – Keep up the great work!

Item: Thomas Paul Aviary Pillow
Seller: greymaggy

Loving this aqua pillow from Etsy seller GreyMaggy!
This shop has tons of great home items, but this aqua pillow really caught my eye.
“This is my FAVORITE fabric,” writes Etsy seller Maggy Schrage, the brains behind this fun shop. “This listing is for one pillow covering made with Thomas Paul Aviary fabric.”
This pillow has an envelope closure and features this cute Aviary fabric on front and back. The case is made for an 18 inch by 18 inch pillow.
Keep in mind that the pillow insert not included in the $24.95 price.
Great shop, lovely items for your home!
