I’m enjoying my final day in San Francisco, CA!
For my last San Francisco themed Etsy feature, I wanted to share this cool urban art pillow. This black and white pillow is handmade with sturdy light-weight canvas woven from 55% linen and 45% combed cotton.
“Fabric graphics created from my photographs taken of SAN FRANCISCO streets, architecture, and landmarks,” the seller writes in the Etsy item description.
Excited to head home, but will be missing this city after such a great visit!

Isn’t this handcrafted tea light candle holder absolutely stunning?
Loving the peaceful feel of this photo – makes me want it in my home ASAP!
“This is a very simple clean design candle holder,” the Etsy.com seller writes in the Etsy item description. “It’s made from a layers of white pine that has been stained white. A few coats of tung oil have been rubbed in to bring out the shine and wood grain. This holds 5 standard tea lights, which will come with your purchase. They sit down into the holder so they are flush with the top. This looks great sitting on your dinning room or kitchen table. When lit, it ads such a beautiful glow to the room.”
This lovely handmade piece is 18 inches long, 3.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide. It’s selling for $25.00 at an Etsy shop called Fountain33.

Item: Animal Clocks

Meet Jennie, the handmade seller behind an Etsy shop called BigBadWolfDesign. I first met this seller via my Etsy Item of the Day shop submission page. I wanted to share her animal clocks today with all of you!
“I make things out of acrylic after discovering a laser cutter and now am thoroughly addicted,” Jennie told me.
“Big Bad Wolf Design is all about the bright colours and clean lines of acrylic,” she writes in her Etsy profile. “The ideas keep coming and the range is rapidly expanding so please keep coming back.”
When I asked Jennie where she likes to shop when she’s browsing Etsy.com, she told me about a shop called saracarr.
“I think it’s very difficult to get personality into simple shapes and she does it beautifully,” Jennie said.
Jennie’s advice to sellers is pretty simple, but extremely valuable:
“Look at all the other shops as it makes you realise just how the standard has to be – especially with the photography,” she suggests.
