Happy Halloween week!

After reading a comment by Etsy seller Dava Shepherd, I decided it would be fun to share some of the odd things listed on Etsy.com.  I have to admit, sometimes the Etsy community can be a bit touchy when it comes to laughing at these kinds of things.  I mean, I am all about an artist’s right to create whatever they would like.  However, when you tag your own product as “weird”, I think it’s fair game for people to also call it weird!  Ya dig?

Since it is Halloween week, I thought it would be fun to add to my Odd on Etsy category on Etsy Item of the Day.  I mean, there are articles and even sites dedicated to the weirdness that we sometimes come across when browsing Etsy.

Before you pick up your pen to write some hate mail, I have to give full disclosure.  I love Etsy.  A lot.

And just because I feature some items that seem odd to me doesn’t make me an Etsy-hater.

It makes the person who cannot take it a fun-hater.  I said it.

Item:  Lady Gaga Hair Bow

Confession:  I think I like Lady Gaga.

I was rather strongly opposed to Gaga the last few months (years?), but I have to admit that lately I have been really digging her music, style… everything!

I tweeted about this new-found love and it seems like some of you guys like her too.  Glad to know I’m not the only one that went from annoyed to freaked out to madly in love!
