If you love London, wall art, and your initial, LondonLetterBox is an Etsy shop you should check out!

Of course, I featured my first initial “J” for this feature.  This wall art is selling for $12.00 for a 5 inch by 5 inch print.  However, if you wanted to really go all out, you could purchase multiple letters to spell a name!

Pretty cool, right?

I met Keri Bevan, the seller behind this Etsy shop, via my Etsy Item of the Day shop submission page.

“I am a UK based fine art photographer. My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic Flashcube camera. By the time I was a teenager I was turning the family bathroom into a darkroom with my vintage film developing equipment,” she told me.

“These days I love to evoke a mood of mystery, nostalgia and whimsy through the art of digital photography. I enjoy experimenting with various techniques such as TTV to create photographs that have a dream-like, ethereal quality,” Keri continued. ”London Letterbox is a diversion for me, as it has more of graphic design element than the rest of my work. It’s brand new, and I’m crossing my fingers that it will find a loving reception.”

When she’s not working on items for her Etsy shop, Keri told me she loves to travel!

“If I’m not traveling I am usually planning the next trip. And of course, when I travel I love to take pictures (it goes hand in hand!)”

I asked Keri where she likes to browse on Etsy.

“I love the photography of Terravision. I’m originally from the Pacific Northwest in the United States, and her beautiful pictures remind me of home,” she said.

Keri’s advice to fellow Etsy sellers is to be persistent and diligent. “It takes some effort to get recognized amdists the sea of talented artists on Etsy, but if your product is great, people will find you,” she says.

So what’s coming up next for Keri and her work?

“Right now I’m focusing on both Keri Bevan Photography and London Letterbox. I’ve just had a very exciting enquiry from a museum who wants to hang one of my pieces, and I’m thrilled to bits,” she said. “I’m working on cushions right now. I just got the prototypes and the photos look amazing on fabric. Time to start sewing!!”

Meet Etsy seller Christy, the crafter behind Etsy’s itsybelle.  This shop is a fabulous place to find custom invitations, unique announcements, party favors, banners, labels, and everything party!

My favorite item in Christy’s shop is this set of spa party printables pictured above.  The best part is that there is no shopping involved – simply buy and print from home or at your local print shop!

“I had been a graphic designer for six years when I became pregnant with our second child,” Christy told me in her shop submission to the site. “There were complications during my pregnancy and I was put on complete bed rest for 8 weeks! Luckily someone was nice enough to loan me a laptop and this is when I first stumbled upon Etsy (and the addiction began…).”

“When our daughter arrived 5 weeks early she was diagnosed with multiple brain malformations and the outlook from the doctors was bleak,” Christy continued. “It became clear that I would need to stay at home to care for her and her special needs. I needed a way to make up some of my lost income, and so I decided to put my design skills to use and open my first Etsy shop! I opened my shop and started designing and selling invitations and announcements.”

“2 years later and my daughter is doing better than any of the doctors ever expected!” she told me.  ”She is a beautiful, smart (and a little sassy) toddler. Her and her brother keep me on my toes! While she has been diagnosed with Hemiparesis and goes to physical and occupational therapy 2-3 times each week, the doctors now think otherwise she will only be mildly delayed! She is truly a miracle.  I feel so blessed for everything I have. Sometimes when something “bad” happens, it can end up being the best thing that ever happened to you. I’ve learned so much about what is important and am now able to stay home to take care of my family and also do something I love!”

“When I decided to start a blog and open a new Etsy shop dedicated to parties, I was inspired to name it for my tiny daughter Annabelle,” she said. “She has taught me life is for celebrating, and I love any excuse to throw a party! So I hope you enjoy this blog full of inspiration and ideas for celebrating life.”
