Here are some more cute pieces from this handmade jewelry seller:
In her Etsy shop submission, Lori told me she is an Atlanta, GA native who is now living in New Haven, CT.
“I had a successful, but not fulfilling, career as a lawyer. About a year ago, I became very ill. I came very close to dying and am blessed – indeed, CHARMED – to be here today. Hence my company’s name – Charmed Design 1012,” she told me. “My first bracelets came into being as something constructive and positive to do while recovering from this sudden and life threatening illness. My jewelry reflects my experience and my newfound commitment to living a life I love . It is inspired by signs and symbols that are all around us and that, if we let them, can uplift and guide us.”
Lori says there are great things coming up for her Etsy shop.
“I am currently learning how to hand stamp jewelry so that I can offer customized charms to add to my charm bracelets and necklaces,” she said.
Please thank Lori for such a great reader discount on Twitter @Charmed1012. You can also find her on Facebook, her blog, and on Tumblr.
And don’t forget to visit her shop today for 25% off your Etsy purchase (using EIOTD as your coupon code)!

What a very inspiring story. It made your jewelries even more beautiful. More power to you!
Thanks Jaydemia, I really appreciate the support!
This story proves that you have to love what you do. I have no doubt that jewelry-making aided in the shop-owner’s recovery and shines through in her beautiful work.
I think there are a lot of people that do not understand the healing attributes of anything outside of medical drugs – like sunshine, and being creative. Your work is simply beautiful.
