Feeling Shy Etsy Art
Item: Shy Print
Seller: elsiecake

Periodically, I ask my Twitter peeps to send me their Etsy shop links so I can get some “Twinspiration” about what to feature next on Etsy Item of the Day. I am so happy that one of my Twitter followers (@sarahwilly) sent me a Tweet with a link to her Etsy favs. Ok, so (a) I didn’t know you could list favorites like this on Etsy without being an Etsy seller and (b) looks like Sarah and I have a lot of the same types of favs!
So… after poking around a little bit on Sarah’s Etsy favorites, I decided to take the next few days to share her favorites (and now my favorites) with all of you!
This first shop (elsiecake) has some really unique, yet simple, art. My favorite piece is the one above – elsiecake’s “Shy Print”. This piece is selling for $18.00 and is an 8×10 giclee print of an original painting. I fell in love with the simple colors (except the red heart!) and I totally dig the way the words are written. So cool – great piece!
Thanks for sharing Sarah!

That is a fantastic print
Going to poke around elsiecake’s shop now!
I love your blog – the notebook is so cute! How sweet to feature etsy sellers, we all need all the promo we can get
You are right, the print is quite evocative! Great pick!

Love the print! One of my favorite things is being nosy and checking out other sellers/buyers favorites! Very cool!
Super piece of art, I love it.
and I love when “favorites” are shared!
I keep my favorites on etsy open for anyone to see… not many sellers do. I guess they’re afraid someone might buy a fav before the get to it, or might see the beads in a particular piece they’re selling, and de-value it if they were inexpensive. I’m not afraid, I think it’s an awesome way to promote fellow etsyins, and if someone finds something new and exciting to them, then I’m happy.
