Ok, so you were looking at the post title and thought “Button Headband”? Jackie has lost it now…
I haven’t lost it, friends. This is not your “mom made me wear it for the family photos” crafty headband. This is freaking cute and the Etsy seller (FlyingButtons) is making some pretty chic Etsy accessories!
First, let’s talk about where you would wear the headband. The seller says it better than I could… “This gorgeous headband was made for that day at the office you wear your favorite lime sweater, the day you go on that first-of-spring picnic, or that day you want to punch up your favorite black outfit with spring’s hottest colors!”
Yes! All of those occasions come to mind for me too!
Think you can make your own? We’ve got directions. The seller (FlyingButtons) took white, chartruese and yellow fabric covered button and wrapped it in lime and yellow ribbons. Then, the button was flanked by two other smaller buttons. Next, the seller permanently attached the three button combo to a lime green headband.
Now, the best part. The price. This headband is selling on Etsy for $6.50. Seriously? By the time you figure out what asile you need to head down at the craft store, it could be in the mail to you.

I was wary, but this is super cute! I’m not one for headbands, but I would wear this one!
When I saw the posting for button headband I thought “no way” but actually this is very cute and chic. I still probably wouldn’t wear it b/c it is a bit too ‘cutsy’ for my style, but it is a lovely piece and rediculously affordable. This seller could easiily raise her prices a bit. She doesn’t have to compete with Walmart for lovely one-of-a-kind accessories like this! Nicely done.
