Gift Box – Japanese Style

June2

Item: Pink Cherry Fabric Gift Box
Seller:  Juntei

juntei's Pink Cherry Fabric Gift Box

I met this Etsy.com seller on Twitter and love her shop!  The seller specializes in hand-crafting unique greeting cards, utilizing vintage Japanese kimono cloth and paper with Japanese designs.  The Etsy shop is full of great items, but I thought this fabric gift box selling for $8.00 was my favorite.

Here’s another photo from the item listing:

I always find myself really finding joy in giving gifts to people in my life.  The wrapping of the gifts is just as important as the gift itself.  I mean, who doesn’t love to open a beautifully wrapped present?!

This Etsy item is a sturdy little white gloss gift box decorated with the same vintage kimono fabric that the seller (Juntei) uses for her greeting cards.  She suggests using this box for everything from jewelry and gift cards to an alternative as an envelope for a greeting card.  Great idea!

The dimensions of the box are 6.5 inches by 4.56 inches by 0.625 inches.

Loving this Etsy shop and all the unique items in it!  Check out the shop by clicking on the seller’s name at the top of this post.

Great to meet you on Twitter JunteiDesigns!

I think you are right about present wrapping… And it’s a good thing I believe, that you enjoy giving presents. But remember not on;y the material form can be wrapped. You can wrap your love to someone just as beautifully as you describe in your post…

    Take care! You rock!
