Item: Crochet Market Bag
Seller: JaybirdDesigns
I learned about Etsy seller Jennifer Cirka via an Etsy blog shop submission to Etsy Item of the Day! My favorite item in Jennifer’s shop is this organic cotton market bag, which is selling for $45.00.
“I am a SAHM in Western Colorado,” Jennifer told me. “Married to my wonderful husband, Ron, and together we have an almost 8 year old daughter named Heather. We also have a 4 year old retired champion Greyhound named Cash who is the worlds biggest baby-dog!”
“I am also a Crochet Guild of America recognized Professional Crochet Designer and I have a book of girl’s sweater designs with Leisure Arts called “Top-sy Turvy,”” Jennifer said. “My designs have been featured in major crochet magazines such as Crochet! Magazine, Crochet Today!, and Crochet World. My recent favorite design, the “Tulip Set”, was even featured on the cover of the April 2010 edition of Crochet World Magazine! I am happy to say that more publications are coming out each year and I will soon be published internationally! Many of my patterns are also independently published and sold online.”
When not crocheting, Jennifer says she also enjoys learning to knit better, baking and spending time with her family.
Jennifer says her favorite shop on Etsy.com is GossamerWingsStudio. “She is a good friend and finds the most amazing vintage goodies!!!” Jennifer told me.
She has valuable advice to those selling their handmade items on Etsy.com. “Great pictures are the best way to get people into your shop,” Jennifer suggests.
If you love Jennifer’s Etsy shop as much as I do, be sure to peep her website, check out her Facebook page, and follow her on Twitter @jaybirddesigns!
