Found this awesome Etsy journal / sketchbook on my Etsy search and fell in love! The journal is selling for $28.00 at the leahmackindotcom’s shop. It measures 6 inches x 4 inches and is 1 1/2 inches thick.

What a great idea! I always feel really limited by most of the journals I come across. I think it’s awesome that this journal / sketchbook has tons of options!
This Etsy journal has 160 pages. The journal also includes four white envelopes bound throughout text block. Loving this idea too! This is the best journal ever!!

I love that binding technique… i don’t think i have seen that one. I wonder how it is done and if it has a name.

CJ – The binding method is a variant of the Button Hole Stitch. If you Google that phrase with the term bookbinding, you will get quite a number of hits of examples of this method. Typically, portions of the spine are left exposed an the signatures are visible.
