Alright friends, let me preface this post by saying I have a really weird relationship with nesting dolls.  My aunt collects them and lines them all up every Christmas.  Not a big deal, right?  Wrong.  I hate nesting dolls.  They make me feel really icky inside the way they all stack into one another.

So… what’s worse than ordinary nesting dolls?  Custom Nesting Dolls.

This is not ok!  You can create your own set of dolls with images of your enemies friends and family.  As the listing says on Etsy, “A whimsical portrait of each member of your family! Colorful illustration of your family, friends and pets in nesting dolls! You customize the hair styles, skin and outfits.”

I need to keep this item a secret from my aunt.  She would go nesting doll nuts!  I can see it now – Jackie, the nesting doll.  Dressed in a cute pink dress holding a laptop – ready to blog.

I’m sure this would be a great item for those of you who haven’t grown up with these dolls stacked up all around you.  But for me, this is just wrong.
