I know… I just can’t get enough of am slightly obsessed with TextMessages’ Etsy shop! Here’s my other post about an item from the shop (in case you missed it!)
Check out the item I came across… vintage typewriter keys with glass tops! So cool! The item entails three randomly picked keys for $6.50. There are letters, numbers, and punctuations keys, which are each a half inch in diameter. The keys are cream with black letters, and still have a half inch shank on the back. The seller thinks the keys were probably white when the typewriter was new, but are now cream.
If you are looking for a specific letter or number, contact the sellers (TextMessages) and there may be something that can be worked out if it’s in stock.
I hope this isn’t blasphemy, but I am thinking it would be super cool to try to get the shanks off the back and make these into magnets. I wonder how difficult it would be to get the shanks off…
