Handmade Skittles Set

Item: Skittles Play Set
Seller: weewaldorf
I want to start this game feature by announcing that I am doing my own little game – a giveaway!
During this weekend (Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29), I will be giving away two free one month ad spots on Etsy Item of the Day ($15.00 value!) The two winners will see their shops advertised on my site for the entire month of August.
Here’s how to enter your shop for the ad giveaway:
Step #1: Find a feature of a seller you like on the site and post a comment!
Show come comment love! Here are some categories that you may want to post a comment in – bath and beauty products on Etsy, my favorite Etsy cards and paper, kids items selling on Etsy, or you can browse my favorite handmade jewelry on Etsy. There are also lots of other categories on Etsy Item of the Day, so don’t feel limited to those.
Step #2: Gab about the feature on social media!
Once you’ve posted your comment on the seller’s feature, talk about it on Twitter, Facebook, or your blog! Don’t forget to include a link to the feature. If you tweet about it, mention my Twitter handle so I can see it (@EtsyToday) and I’ll be sure to retweet you.
Step #3: Tell me about your shop! (optional)
Looking for a feature on Etsy Item of the Day? Tell me about your shop! Simply tell me a bit about yourself and your shop on my Etsy Item of the Day shop submission page!
You have until Sunday night to post your comment and post the link on your social media. I will announce the winners on Twitter and contact the winning sellers individually as well. Happy posting!
Now… on to this cute handmade item I am featuring today…
When I saw this was a Skittles set, I thought the seller was referring to the color of the pins and balls. I did some research and realized Skittles is an old European lawn game. It’s a variety of bowling, and was actually the father of ten-pin bowling, duckpin bowling, and candlepin bowling in the United States. In the United Kingdom, Skittles remains a popular pub game in certain regions.
This set is selling for $35.95 and would make a cute present for a child!
