First of all, how freaking cute is this Etsy shop’s name?  It took me a second,but it’s so fun, right??

I learned about Etsy’s Gorjuss via a shop submission to Etsy Item of the Day.  This week, I have been featuring shops came to me through this form online and it’s been really fun!  Earlier this week, I featured the following items:

My favorite item from Gorjuss was this bright pink organic cotton tote.  The bag measures approximately 16.5 inches by 14.5 inches, and it’s selling for $15.00.

Behind Gorjuss is Suzanne and Grant, a husband and wife team from Glasgow, Scotland.  Suzanne does the art for the pieces, and Grant makes the prints and other items in this Etsy shop.

“When I’m not painting then I’m always planning the next painting!” Suzanne told me.  “But occasionally I get to take a break and watch some tennis, or see my fave bands play in concerts.”

Grant quit his day job, to join Suzanne full-time running their online shop. Congrats to both of you!  Also, Grant has an article that was published on Etsy.com!

So what’s next for Gorjuss?  “We’re actually starting to get some of our items into big high street superstores now, so we hope this continues and the gorjuss brand spreads successfully!” Suzanne said.
