Item: Black Handmade Hobo

Although Amanda Baker, the handmade seller behind Etsy’s MilkandHoneyHandbags, has tons of bright and fun summer-loving bags in her shop, I had to feature this simple black hobo. I am always on the lookout for a great bag. Plus, ever since scoring an iPad for my birthday (spoiled for sure), I’ve been really needing some extra room.

Two purses are down for the count so far, and I’ve been eying this one from MilkandHoneyHandbags thinking it may be one that will hold up well!

This bag is selling for $110.00, and I’m loving the zippered top to keep everything super secure. Inside the bag, there is a lovely dandelion print on light gray cotton lining.

As an added bonus, you get little wooden honey dipper key chain included!!

Amanda, the seller behind Milk and Honey Handbags, taught herself to sew when she was 14, and has been designing and sewing purses ever since.  Amanda is inspired by color, nature, fabrics, and the chic, feminine look of the early 1960s.  You can see this inspiration in her other Etsy items that I am loving:

Amanda also told me she loves to read and spend time with people she loves.  She also loves to hike, snowboard, rock climb, and canoe.

I am always curious about what other Etsy shops sellers on the site frequent.

“I love the planners from mylavendercottage,” Amanda told me. “One of my first purchases on Etsy- and she makes a perfect planner. Cute outside design. Spacious monthly and weekly plans and a ton of extra pages for to do lists and notes.”
