Yesterday, I told you about Andrea Badgley (@sacredsuds on Twitter), and about how stoked I was to get some fabulous Etsy shop recommendations from her. The first shop recommended by Andrea (Etsy’s cholulajewelry) was featured yesterday. For the next few days you’ll see great Etsy shops recommended by Andrea.
The Etsy shop featured today (palettepassion) is really cool. Andrea told me on Twitter that she “loves, loves, loves these painted scarves” – I had to check them out.
I love reading Etsy sellers’ profiles – and this one made me smile. The seller (palettepassion) writes, “I’ve finally found my “passion” and it’s painting! I’ve tried a lot of arts and crafts and this one just suits me. I find inspiration in many things – nature, my children, magazines, textiles, the wonderful Minnesota seasons… I have so many ideas and so little time!”

There are tons of handpainted scarves in this Etsy shop, but my favorite is the one with beautiful daisies. If you aren’t a huge fan of the daisies, be sure to visit this shop to see the other scarves. There are so many – you’re sure to find one that is perfect for you.

Now that I’ve moved to Minnesota, I have really come to appreciate the value of scarves. They must be soft on the sensitive skin of your neck, and you need lots of them to accessorize with the dark colors of winter. The great thing about these silk scarves is that not only do they meet both of those criteria, but they can be worn in all seasons. AND, they’re beautiful. AND they’re handmade!
I’m in love with these scarves!! I’ll be ordering soon! I’m having a hard time deciding. This Etsy item of the day is awesome as it has introduced me to many items I simply don’t have the time to find. Thank you!!!

Beautiful. I couldn’t agree with you more. For the same reason, I feel like my handbags are year round items, not just summer. They brighten up any wardrobe, just like your beautiful scarves. Cheers!
