I was introduced to this Etsy shop by fellow Etsian @Natalyas_Studio a few weeks back on Twitter.  I absolutely love meeting sellers on Twitter.  If you are not part of the discussion yet, just follow me on Twitter and let’s chat about Etsy!

My favorite item in this Etsy shop (YummyAffair) are these yummy lemon heart cookies.  They are selling at a fabulous price – $6.95 for one half pound, or 12-14 pieces.

These cookies would be perfect for Valentine’s Day.  However, even though we are at the end of February, I still had to share them!  Since when are heart cookies only for one holiday a year?  These would be a cute way to say thanks to a family member, or would even make a darling (and budget-friendly) addition to a Mother’s Day gift!

So here’s the “skinny” on these cookies: They are made with a buttery shortbread crust and delicate filling, bursting with lemon scent and flavor, and sprinkled with confectioner’s sugar.  They are handmade and handcut, with no artificial flavors and no preservatives.  How could you pass these up?
