Item: Red Poppy Macro Print

During the month of September, I am featuring artists I have come across via my Etsy shop submission page.  I started the month by featuring a wonderful shop named LilyLynnDesigns1 because I really loved her handmade flower bridal hair accessory and she had a touching story to share.

Today, I wanted to share the cool photography of MollysMuses, another awesome shop on Etsy.com.   Molly, the seller behind this shop, is selling this red poppy image for $25.00.  It was created this summer while she was hiking on the back roads. Like the seller, I love poppies – so this print really grabbed my attention!  Interestingly, the color in this photographic digital image is not enhanced.  Molly says the color is true with an orange red glow, hints of yellow and the natural green of the grass behind at sunset.  Love it!

Molly told me in her Etsy shop submission to the site that she is a photographer who has slowly taken the plunge of not working for other people.  Right now, she focusing solely on her lovely artwork that makes her happy. Oh boy, I can relate to that one!

“I love Etsy and the community I have found myself surrounded by,” Molly said.  “I love talking to other creative people, no matter what their medium of art or craft it.”

When Molly isn’t crafting, she is super busy!  “I spend a lot of time with my family,” she told me.  “I am active in my church and I believe in volunteering so I am also active that way.”

Molly shared a great shop with me called Tascha.

“When I can afford an original of hers, I WILL be buying, in the meantime LOVING my print,” Molly said.

Darling work, right?  Loving these colors!

So what can we expect from MollysMuses on Etsy.com in the future?

“I just ordered my business cards from MOO which are completely different from my cards in the past when I was taking portrait appointments. I have an idea for a line I want to do or in my world I call it a Body of Work,” she told me.
