Meet artist Nancy Romanovsky, the creative painter behind the Etsy shop NancyArtist. I met Nancy via my Etsy Item of the Day shop submission page.
“I have always been a lover of nature and art – started painting in oils at age nine. In 2009, I started painting seriously again and have recently (just a month ago) started selling on Etsy,” Nancy told me. “Although I have been a fan of Etsy as a shopper for much longer than that!”
When she’s not working on new paintings for her shop, Nancy told me what she likes to do to keep busy.
“I love to hike and also enjoy running. We recently bought a tree farm in Washington so that keeps me busy too. Oh, and those three teenagers of mine take a little of my time,” she said.
I asked Nancy where she likes to browse on Etsy.com.
New to selling on Etsy? Nancy has great advice for you!
“Join teams and learn from successful other new Etsy sellers. Try and bring in buyers from other sites by linking to your Etsy shop. Use good tags and descriptions!” she suggests.
What’s next for Nancy’s Etsy shop?
“More sales hopefully,” she told me. ”I am always painting at every opportunity and want to add new paintings in various sizes. ”
