I haven’t posted a Kappa Kappa Gamma-inspired item for awhile – and this one is perfect!

For those of you out there that may not know, I am an alumn of Kappa Kappa Gamma, a sorority.  For more info, check out this previous post which talk about Kappa’s symbols and Kappa gifts I have featured before!

The key is one of our symbols, so you can see why I thought of Kappa right away when I saw this floral skeleton key.  It’s a really stunning piece.  You can find this necklace on Etsy.com under jennykim’s shop.  Just click on the seller’s name (jennykim) at the top of this post to take you right there.

The item is a darkened/antiqued sterling silver key pendant.  It’s super unique because of the cool roses.  Also, it comes hung on a sterling chain.  The item is selling for $220.00.

The craftsman ship is amazing on this piece.  The sellers says the key is entirely sculpted in wax, each flower at a time (as well as every part of the key), before casting in sterling silver using the lost-wax casting process.  The Etsy item description for this item also says that the back of the key has an arrangement of leaves.  So unique and I’m sure it’s stunning in person!  In fact, this is an original, one-of-a-kind piece.
