Meet Etsy seller Kärt Urman – the knitter behind an Etsy shop called SunnyHands.

“I’m a girl living in Estonia and very passionate about knitting and crochet,” she told me in her shop submission to Etsy Item of the Day.  “My head is full of ideas but there’s not enough time to carry out everything I’d like. I like to use old stitches and colorwork motifs in my knitting and create something that is at the same time traditional and contemporary.”

When I visited SunnyHands, I thought this yellow beret was lovely.  It is selling for $35.00 and Kärt says the lacy structure gives it really feminine look.   The hat is 100% lambwool.

When she isn’t crafting, Kärt told me she likes to sing in a choir and play the piano.  “I also read a lot and nothing can beat long walks on the beach or in the forest,” she said.
