Isn’t this frame super sweet?

I heard about this shop from an Etsy Item of the Day shop submission.  The seller, Trisha Koontz, has a wide variety of handcrafted items in her Etsy shop.  Seriously - everything from frames and jewelry to hair accessories and cards can be found in TAKCreations on Etsy.com.  You can visit the shop by clicking the shop name (TAKCreations) at the top of this feature.

Trisha told me she is fairly new to Etsy and has really enjoyed creating and selling her handmade products to people all over the world. “The challange and the succsess is what really drives me!” she told me.

When she is not crafting, Trisha says she has another project on her hands.  “Working on my new house which I just bought and am now remodeling! Working, going to the beach, relaxing with my husband, or hanging with friends,” she says.

I am always curious to see what other sellers are peeping on Etsy.com.  Trisha says she loves Ouma, a fabulous clothing designer selling on Etsy.  “This shop blows my mind, not only are her clothes amazing and original, but her pictures are captivating!” she told me.  I absolutely love Ouma!  I featured Ouma’s Tutu Dress back in February of 2009, and I check back on this shop often.  Trust Trisha – this is a shop to check out for sure!

Lamixx.  “Mostly because I want to buy everything in it! But she also has amazing designs and pictures to match,” she said.

Trafalgarssquare.  “This shop is so amazing the artists work is to die for darling!” Trisha says.

BeadsNSupplies.  “This is my favorite shop to buy supplies from! She is an amazing seller and has high quality products!” she told me.

Trisha tells sells to make sure to do research!  “Once you get a hold of how Etsy works and what your target market is you can really hone in on your listings and self promoting! Be patient, don’t get down if sales drop for a week- thats just the way it goes. Do all of the social marketing- twitter, facebook, flicker, etc! It really works and subjects you to a wide range of people who may add one of your items on a blog and all of a sudden you’re getting 300 unique visitors a day,” she advises.

Can’t wait to see what’s next for TAKCreations?  Trisha says she is going to continue to try to get closer and closer to her niche and continue to push her artistic ability into her work.  I cannot wait to see the new items Trisha will be adding in the coming months to her Etsy shop!
