I have always been amazed at how some people (many of them Etsians) can hunt down vintage treasure.  I have never had that skill, or patience really, and I am sooo happy there is a community out there who are near experts!

These darling saucers are for sale in Etsy’s ifIhadwords shop for $16.00.  They measure 6 inches across.  You can see more photos of them by click on the seller’s shop name at the top of this feature.

The sellers says that this adorable set of two saucers dates back to the 1940s or 1950s, which were the dates this pattern was produced. The seller found these in wonderful vintage condition – no chips or damages in either.  Nice!

I love the pattern on these saucers.  I think they would take anyone back in time – they are really special.  The seller (ifIhadwords) suggests using them for ring dishes, jewelry organizers, soap holders, or spoon rests.

Interestingly, this Etsy vintage seller finds all her treasures at garage sales, antique stores and thrift shops.  If you like this item, make sure to check back often, as she will be listing lots of new things as she finds them.
