Blame it on me getting stoked about my October get-away to Hawaii, but this lovely blue whipped soap caught my eye!

I learned about the seller behind StarletGlamBathBody, Peggy Paliotta, through a shop submission to Etsy Item of the Day.  This entire month, I am featuring a new seller each day that tells me about their shop on this page.  Here are some of the other great shops I have featured this month:

StarletGlamBathBody is filled with great bath and beauty products.  Peggy runs this small home-based boutique in Rhode Island.

“I’ve always had a passion for healthy bath & body products and all things pink and glamorous!” she told me.  You will see lots of pink in this shop.  The packaging is darling – and I would give a friend a StarletGlamBathBody product in a heartbeat!

So how did the shop get started?  “I was browsing a magazine article about handmade lip balms back in 1998. That article also mentioned handcrafting soaps,” Peggy said.  “That’s when I got my start and launched “A Splash of Renaissance” while living in NYC. After relocating back to Rhode Island, I started fresh under a new name — with new products. And I haven’t looked back. My elegant products include glamour soaps – such as a corset shaped soap titled “Bombshell Marilyn Corset” inspired by Marilyn Monroe, and an “Antique Rose Garden Soap”, a Rose shaped soap.”

Peggy says her boutique has grown to include glamour soap, LeBoudoir bar soaps, shimmer shower gels, body butters, hand & body lotions, lip balm shimmers, bath crystals, LuxWhip cream soaps, sugar scrubs, bath fizzie powders and perfume oils.

But don’t think she’s stopping at that already long product list.  “There will be additional products/scents in the near future,” she told me.  “My passion and inspiration for Old Hollywood led to the creation of my elegant bath & body products. It’s all about pampering you and making you feel special! Simple, yet glamorous products that will fly you to the stars!”

Peggy says she hopes to include additional products and scents to her Etsy shop in the future.  “And in addition to doing high end juried craft shows, I’m also browsing gift boutiques on the East Coast and West Coast for wholesale accounts,” Peggy said. “My dream is to one day open up my own retail boutique.”
