Yaheesplace CANADA 1964 canvas tote Yah Bag

Oooooh!  I am loving this darling bag selling on Etsy.com!  The seller (YaheesPlace) has a shop that is full of darling items which are made from natural fibers, vintage, upcycled, recycled, or reclaimed fabrics.  This seller’s stuffing is “ecofill”, and it’s made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and is hypo-allergenic.  I love an eco-conscious Etsy seller!

This seller (YaheesPlace) puts a great deal of effort into searching out materials for her darling “Yah Bags.” The one pictured above is my absolute favorite, and is selling for $140.00.  Each and every one of these bags in YaheesPlace is special and unique.  The seller uses materials that are vintage or up-cycled.  Because of this, the seller says there may be inconsistencies in the color, small marks and spots.  I agree with the seller – these only add to the charm and uniqueness of each bag.   I mean, who wants a bag that looks fresh off the assembly line?

My favorite “Yah Bag” is this cute sling tote that has been constructed from a unique, vintage Canadian mail sack.  It measures 17 inches by 16 inches.  I think it would be such a fun bag to take to the beach!

The bag has “1964 CANADA” and the crown stamped on the front and is fully lined with vintage ticking fabric.  The canvas bag has one good size pocket inside, and 2 small pockets on the exterior.  One of my favorite things about this bag?  The strap is long enough to wear across the chest messenger style.

Loving this shop too?  A big thanks to @purtygirldesign on Twitter for recommending I check out the items in this Etsy shop!  Be sure to check out YaheesPlace on Twitter @yaheesplace and also peep this seller’s blog.

Hope you all enjoy this bag as much as I do!  Check out the entire Etsy shop by clicking the shop name (YaheesPlace) at the top of this feature.

Cute! Cute! Cute! I love eco-friendly handbags too and I shop on Etsy as well as http://www.eco-handbags.ca . It’s a good thing there are pretty bags sold at cheap prices compared to the eco-friendly ones from Stella McCartney, and the designs are even better sometimes

I recently joined a group in the UK and this kind of stuff is exactly what they are talking about. Recycling something old and making it new.

It’s also what I try to do in my life and my site, but this item tops everything I have seen, amazing, I love it and I want one.
Thank-you for bringing this to my attention.
